Job Readiness Program
Women in recovery often face significant challenges in maintaining employment due to the demands of mandated state programs like IOP, PHP, and recovery court, which frequently conflict with traditional work hours. Additionally, they must navigate random drug tests, doctor’s appointments, counseling sessions, recovery meetings, and the expectations of sober living homes.
At The Sweet Addiction, we provide a supportive and flexible environment that accommodates these obligations while emphasizing accountability and adherence to a structured work schedule.
Many women also enter the workforce lacking essential soft skills—such as effective communication, time management, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation—and struggle to establish healthy workplace boundaries. Our comprehensive work training program is designed to address these gaps by fostering professional conduct and developing both foundational and industry-specific competencies.
Through our program, participants gain valuable skills in areas like kitchen management, food preparation, food production, and office operations, including payroll, administration, marketing, recruiting, and sales. By incentivizing progress, we empower participants to achieve financial independence while maintaining their focus on recovery, ultimately paving the way for long-term stability and success.
